Since 2000, CCAS' Young Adult Literature Conference has demonstrated how the combination of compelling books combined with engaging learning strategies, provides a powerful learning experience for middle and high school students.

About the Conference

The Young Adult Literature Conference (YAL) is coming online. Teachers, save the date. We know you have a greater need than ever for those things you’ve always counted on YAL to provide: the perspective of a good book, models of best practices and strategies (adapted this year to engage students online), and the support and leadership of your peers. Because you’ve had to make big changes this year, YAL has too, bringing a teacher-led tech playground, where you can find out about useful technology and have a chance to play with it, and teacher-led meetups around topics that you have requested.
